california girl's trip

a few weeks ago, while grayson and jake went to southern utah to go camping, everett and i went to california to hang out with the girls! it was my first time flying with a baby alone and it was super easy. so many people were sweet and helpful, carrying my bags and folding down my stroller, it was awesome! and everett is super friendly so he loved all the attention of course! the only thing i was worried about were the double ear infections that were full blown raging at the time... we found out about them the day before we left... but with a little medicine and antibiotics he was an angel.

we got to see adam and ashley's new house, it was beautiful! 

johnny and everett were LOVING each other! it was so cute to hear johnny talk to him and see everett's reactions, he was always smiling and laughing and making noises so that johnny would notice him and want to play. 

we did a whole lot of my favorite things, going to lunch and shopping! with larene, ashley, me, johnny, everett, and milly, it got a little crazy at times but it was such a blast!

our friend tayler took some family/newborn pics for us when everett was 2 weeks old. i am obsessed with all of them! she did such an amazing job and it was her first time, super talented!

hawaii part 2

our friends seek and bree and their little boy sylver came over from oahu to visit us for the day. we had so much fun swimming, surfing, and catching up. thanks for coming guys!

hawaii part 1

so i've neglected my blog big time since everett was born! it's too intimidating for me to try to catch up all in one post so i'm just going to post a little here and there about the past 9 months.

grayson, everett (6 months) and i went to kauai with our friends dan, mckell, and their little girl eliza in march. the kids did great on the flights (slc to san fran, san fran to honolulu, honolulu to kauai)

we checked into the hotel, and went straight to costco. loaded up on goodies to eat while we were there and grays bought a foam top long board which turned out to be less expensive than renting a board for the week.

everett decided to start rolling over on the first morning!

watching the sunrise, one of the perks of a 4 hour time difference. 

the babies woke up around 4 or 5 am every day.
