life lately

 i have been doing a lot of deep cleaning/re-decorating around our house! 

here are a few things that i've done so far. 

put up a photo wall (i still need to fill most of the frames, today's project?)

cleaned out the tv stand

(you can kind of see guy fieri on the tv. i think i watched 6 hours 

of diners, drive-ins, and dives and i loved every minute of it!)

made a make-up board (thanks, pinterest!)

make-up brush holder (mason jar with mod podged gold glitter for a little glam.)

got new running shoes. (they are AMAZING)

then on sunday, grays and i went to temple square with ashley, jake, and johnny.

im back!

i've been inspired to blog again! it might have to do with the fact that i have A LOT of free time on my hands right now while grays is in school. here's the update from the past year and a half (has is seriously been that long?)

summer 2011

brittany: working full time, grayson: going to school full time. figuring out how to be grown up married people (i might have set a few dinners on fire. i wish i was kidding!) a few trips to Escalante and California. sun bathing, rock climbing, and watching an unhealthy amount of The Office/Grey's Anatomy (our favorites). moved from midvale, ut to american fork, ut.

fall/winter 2011

brittany: still working full time, grayson: still school full time.

fall 2012

grayson was accepted to the RCA (recruit cadet academy) at UVU and started on august 27th and goes until december 12th. i am SO proud of him!! he is loving it! right now he is the engineer in his crew and gets to drive the fire engine during class. tonight they are starting to train with real fire so it's pretty cool. but because he is in school so much, 3 days a week for 5 hours and 1 day for 8, i have a lot of time to do crafty/domestic stuff. i'm thinking i might start posting recipes and tutorials on here... we'll see how that goes!
